District Banquet
You are invited to the District Banquet on March 13th at 6:30pm at the First Baptist Church Activity Center. This will be a special night for all leaders and volunteers with great food, fun, and fellowship. During the ceremony we will recognize some very deserving volunteers for their outstanding work and dedication in the past year.

Scout Show
The annual Scout Show will take place again at Hugh MacRae Park on the weekend of March 2-4. The actual Scout Show will be taking place on March 3 but we encourage scouts/troop or packs to spend the weekend as it will be filled with lots of activities and fun. If you cannot make it for the entire weekend, plan on coming out Saturday to have fun and check out all the great activities. District Pinewood Derby
The Coastal District Derby is set for Saturday, March 10 at Independence Mall. Check in starts at 9:00am with races beginning after check in is complete. This race is for any scout that came in 1st place for their rank (Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos I, Webelos II). Special thanks goes to Ray Cockrell and Pack 226 for their leadership in heading up the District Derby this year. Ray and Pack 226 put on a great derby every year and this year is going to be a great time for everyone in attendance. Please encourage others from your pack to attend as well as family and friends.

Roundtable
District Roundtable meetings are held on the 2nd and 3rd Tuesday of each month.
2nd Tuesday – Held at the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS in Wilmington, NC across from UNCW at 7:00pm.
3rd Tuesday – Held at Supply Baptist Church off Highway 17 at 7:00pm.
Roundtables begin at 7:00pm with a gathering of all, to share council and district news. We then split into our Cub Scout Roundtable and Boy Scout Roundtable. Please be sure to have a representative from your unit to attend this monthly meeting. It is very informative and vital to units staying up to date and current.
District Committee Meeting
District Committee meetings will be held at the Brunswick Forest Welcome Center in Leland on the 4th Thursday night of each month. All District Committee members please be sure to attend these very important meetings.
