Every Boy Deserves a Trained Leader

Importance of Training

One of the keys to a successful Scouting experience for young people, second only to the selection of the right person for each responsibility, is trained volunteer leadership. Leadership training provides adult leaders with fundamental information about the aims and methods of the movement, as well as specifics about their particular roles in Scouting.

All leaders should immediately participate in the online trainings that are available through the BSA Online learning center, http://olc.scouting.org

The Cape Fear Council would also like to encourage all leaders to participate in district and council trainings that are held throughout the year.  These are very important to attend and a great opportunity to have fun and fellowship with other Scouters.  Please click on the link below to view a list of district and council training opportunities.
