Help Us Build The Future At Camp Bowers

Brand new tent platforms are now being built for tent camping at Cape Fear Scout Reservation’s Camp Bowers. Every tent can be on a new platform and frame with the completion of this campaign. Along with this construction project we will be investing over time in new BSA Diamond Brand Poly Tents for each one of our new tent platforms and frames.

Each sponsored platform, complete with tent frame and new tent, will have a plaque affixed to it stating whatever the sponsor (you) would like to have engraved. It could be your name, or the name of your parents, leaders, unit number or special phrase you may have picked up at camp or at a Wood Badge course.

  • Size: 7ft by 9ft
  • Materials: 5/4 decking and 2 x 6 treated lumber

Frames: Frames provide maximum square footage and increase life span of the tent.

  • Size: Fit to standard 7ft x 9ft size Diamond Brand Poly Tent
  • Materials: 1 inch galvanized metal tubing with footings and joint brackets

Tents:   Diamond Brand Poly Tent features two mesh doors, four windows, roof vents for breathability & zippered corners. This durable 300D polyester tent is ideal for use in hot & buggy climates.

Sponsorship Details: A sponsorship of $1,000 will provide one complete Tenting Package including: one assembled tent platform, one galvanized steel tent frame, and one new 7ft x 9ft BSA Diamond Brand Poly Tent; along with a plaque recognizing you or whomever you choose for this generous gift. Partial sponsorships are also available just indicate the amount you can sponsor and we’ll combine it with other partial sponsors to complete a full platform sponsorship.
