Registration is open for the 2017 National Jamboree
The Cape Fear Council is taking a contingent of Scouts to the 2017 National Jamboree at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia, July 19 to July 28, 2017.
What is the National Scout Jamboree? The National Jamboree is a gathering of Scouts from across the country. The program will feature and reflect the skills of Scouting, our Nation’s heritage, physical fitness, conservation, and the spirit of brotherhood. During this brief period when Scouts gather, you will see everything that Scouts do – and everything that Scouting is – all in one amazing place. The 2017 National Scout Jamboree promises to be an incredible week of fun for all Scouts. Be a part of our Council contingent and seize the opportunity to create lifelong friendships and memories with your fellow Scouts.
What is the cost? The total cost, including the $100 deposit to secure your spot is $1,800 dollars which includes registration fees, transportation, sightseeing trips, tshirts, hats, patches, etc. There is time to raise money through fundraisers, scholarships, and other means prior to our departure. Please do not let cost be a deterrent from you attending this once in a lifetime event.
Register Here – Once you register online, send your $100 deposit to the Cape Fear Council Office, PO Box 7156, Wilmington NC 28406, to be approved for the contingent.
