Scouts in Action at Scout Shows

This past weekend hundreds of Scouts assembled across the Cape Fear Council at District Scout Shows to show off their skills and Pinewood Derby cars to the public.  Events were held at  Lumberton Airport, the Columbus County Fairgrounds, Brunswick Forest, and Kiwanis Park in Hampstead, Scouting across Southeastern North Carolina was on full display.  Each Scout Show featured displays from units showcasing their historical background and the local Pinewood Derby Championship.  Over the course of the day the public was invited to come and learn all about Scouting in their local communities and share in fellowship.  Thank you to each District Scout Show Coordinator for heading up these exciting and fun events.
